Guangdong BioMax Si&F New Material Co., Ltd is a modern high-tech enterprise specializing in research, development, and production of silicone and organic fluorine chemicals, marketing, and technical services.

The company was founded in the Spring of 1993 by Chen Xianhui and Dr. Huang Jianming.  They started the venture during the spring breeze of China's opening to the rest of the world.  They worked successfully at the forefront of silicone and polymer research for decades, and had been awarded the National Scientists designation by China's State Council. Starting in a garage, they eventually built their enterprise into one of the world's most successful chemical companies.

With a strong emphasis on value creation and contribution to society, BioMax Si&F focuses on silicone and fluorine-based chemical products for industrial and life science applications.  We strive to develop new materials as well as technical solutions to customers with high value-added, environment-friendly, functional and energy-saving advantages, so that we can maintain our position in the forefront of our field.

BioMax Si&F's R/D center is located in the Guangzhou economic development zone, and our marketing headquarters is in the CBD.  We actively create new value for our customers, and help them build their businesses.  At present we have developed hundreds of unique silicone and fluorine-based chemicals. Applications include life sciences, electronics, electrical, paint, renewable energy utilization, environmental protection, oil exploration and other fields.  BioMax Si&F is ranked as the first pilot among intellectual property protection companies in China and now we have over 10 national invention patents.  We are one of the first few high-tech enterprises in Guangdong Province with ISO9001 international quality system certification.

One of our achievements is the technology for the specific fluoroether rubber invented by Dr. Huang Jianming, which has been successfully applied in the  "Shenzhou VI" Chinese Space Shuttle launched in 2006.  This contribution has been highly acclaimed by the National Aeronautics and Space Department of COSTIND.  As a result, several of our high-tech achievements have been successfully used in the national defense industry, military, and aerospace.

In 2005, we introduced our silicone-based products into the pharmaceutical and biotechnology fields. Guangzhou BioMax Pharmaceutical Excipients Co., Ltd. is the most successful GMP high-tech enterprise in Guangdong in terms of design, management, production and sales of silicone-based pharmaceutical excipients and intermediates.
